Hi, I'm Vicki Smith, owner of http://www.Ducati.net. I enjoy photographing the events I attend and have posted my "view of things" online here to share. "Vicki's View" galleries have captions that along with the photos tell the story with a depth and prospective traditional reporting can not. If you prefer a speedier way to look at the photos the slideshow works well for that, but eliminates the captions. To contact me directly I can be reached at Veloce916@aol.com

Motogiro d'Italia 2008 ROMA! : Motogiro d'Italia 2008 - Rome to Vieste and back. This year we started in Rome, one glance at the schedule could tell you the new team organizing the event this year was taking the compitition seriously - raising it to another level if you will. Nine hour days of mountain riding would have done just that but for the first time in eight years, we had days of bad weather. The result was the toughest Motogiro d'Italia yet. Ducati Superbike Concorso 2008 Round One - Daytona : 2008 Ducati Superbike Concorso. In 2008, each round is a stand alone shootout. With new rules, new classes and more prizes, this year each of 5 rounds produces a winner of a trip for two to Italy. It's a Ducatisti trip of a lifetime to the Milan motorcycle show and the Ducati factory and with prizes this good they came from far and wide, Maine, Kansas City, Colorado, all for a shot at the trip and prizes. DucatiDayDaytona 2008 : "What are you going to do if it rains?" seemed to be the only thing I heard all week. "Ducs like water!" was my general response, We're having a party, rain or shine. Friday morning dawned to overcast skies and a tornado watch, it really looked bad but never underestimate the passion of Ducatisti - darned if we didn't have a party anyway.
